Trogir
Trogir, a small town near Split, is known for its old town center. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Besides Trogir lies the island of Ciovo with small villages, its beaches and small coves. Civio is ideal for swimming.
Note that there are many campsites near Trogir which may be the starting point for excursions to Split and Sibenik. Indeed, they have a fairly central position in relation to these three cities.
