Plitvice
The distance between the Plitvice National Park and the sea is less than 200 km.
Park Plitvice lakes covers sixteen lakes with a blue green color, located in the mountains in the middle of a thick forest.
Many waterfalls along the park.
The lakes are open all year.
The entrance is about 15 euros, giving access to the boat and small train which reveal the upper and lower parts of the park.
Note that there is a campsite near Plivitce, offering very affordable small cottages.
